Elementary and high school science and mathematics teachers, faculty of teacher education institutions, graduate students, principals, supervisors and superintendents, curriculum developers, and researchers are invited to submit one-page abstracts of researches and posters, proposals for discussion group topics/issues, and demonstration teaching related to any of the following sub-themes:

- teaching mathematics through problem solving
- inquiry-based science teaching
- collaborative lesson planning
- ICT tools and strategies
- addressing misconceptions
- pedagogical content knowledge
Abstract
of contributions should not exceed 300 words. Please include title, author/s,
institution, and postal and/or email address. Email abstract to 2013ncsme@gmail.com or
mail to UP NISMED, Quirino Ave., Diliman, Quezon City 1101, Philippines. The deadline for submission of abstracts is extended to 31 August 2013. Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail on or before 15 September 2013.
